The seasonally adjusted S&P Global/CIPS UK Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) unexpectedly declined to 46.4 in February from 48.3 in January. The data missed the market expectations of 48.4 in the reported period.
Meanwhile, the Preliminary UK Services Business Activity Index improved to 51.1 in February versus January’s 50.9 while coming in above the estimated 50.8 reading.
