Assetto Corsa EVO features open-world Nürburgring map

Assetto Corsa EVO will have a big open-world map. This was announced by Kunos Simulazioni, a specialist studio in driving simulation. This map will also accurately mirror the legendary Eifel region around the famous Nürburgring track.

Kunos’ official site confirmed that Assetto Corsa EVO will launch the map by mid-2025, in the summer of the Northern Hemisphere.

The franchise will introduce the open world in phases covering 1,600 square kilometers. As the map grows, new features and content will follow. According to Kunos, the map is fully laser-scanned, which means it is full of detail.

Assetto Corsa EVO will launch on PC via Early Access on January 16, 2025. Console versions will follow in the future, though they will not be released until after the game completes the early access period.

Assetto Corsa EVO will feature real life local business

The simulation will also feature local businesses near the Nürburgring. Players will be able to rent and customize their cars at real-life outlets. Kunos also invited all local businesses on the Nürburgring that want a chance to be featured in Assetto Corsa EVO to contact the studio.

Asssetto Corsa began as a hardcore racing simulator with realistic physics. The original game was released first on PC and eventually found its way to consoles. However, the attention to detail on controllers could have been better to play the original title.

Now, the game has a large amount of mods for the community, with free-to-roam features in some of these mods.

Assetto Corsa Competizione (second addition to the franchise) features full licensing and is now, as the word goes, a top competitive racing simulator with 90.64% positive reviews as per SteamDB ratings. Over the years, more cars and tracks have been added. It began on PC and then came to consoles, delivering unmatched immersion in the process.

The most significant set piece is promised to be in a new game, EVO. It is the third title in the series, which aims to offer the community what it wants with an open-world game.
