In a recent interview, Former U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has revealed her ambitious plans to expand her Web3 venture aimed to support needy children. This initiative, which combines technology and philanthropy, seeks to harness the potential of blockchain and decentralized platforms to improve the lives of children in the foster care system.
The former first lady elaborated that if she were to return to the White House, she would not only expand her platform but also hire more staff to enhance its capabilities. She noted that she has embarked on several projects since she left the statehouse over three years ago. She stated:
So after I left the White House in 2021, I established my two platforms, Web2 and Web3, blockchain platforms that I create art and collectibles, and all it’s available on those two platforms, MelaniaTrump.com and USAMemorabilia.com. So, if we are back in the White House, I will expand that and add more staff.

Melania’s initial foray into the crypto landscape started in 2021 with the launch of “Melania’s Vision” NFT, which she said embodied her passion for the arts and would support her ongoing commitment to children through the “Be Best” initiative.
The main aim of this Web3 project is to offer financial aid to adults who are leaving the foster care system. Part of the revenue generated from selling NFTs will be allocated to providing these individuals with crucial training in computer science and software development to assist them in transitioning into adulthood.
The former First Lady said she had “more ideas,” and she reaffirmed that the Web3 platform would continue to provide financial support for children from the foster care community.
NFTs are growing in popularity, and more people are learning about their potential. They allow you to own digital art or collectibles that no one else can claim. It’s like owning a rare trading card or a special edition toy. Melania’s choice to include NFTs in foster cases shows she’s paying attention to the latest trends.
Unlike traditional digital files, which can be endlessly copied and shared, NFTs are distinguished by their uniqueness and scarcity, encoded and verified on a blockchain. The value of NFTs goes beyond the digital item itself; it’s about the verifiable ownership of the piece. This concept can be likened to physical art: while many can replicate or photograph the Mona Lisa, only the original holds true value.
Still, NFTs saw around 115,000 ETH in trading volume on exchanges last month. This is the lowest monthly volume since January 2021.
