Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL), which rose 4.98% or 200.00 points to trade at 4,220.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 3.01% or 2,570.00 points to end at 87,910.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was up 2.94% or 48.00 points to 1,682.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nova (TASE:NVMI), which lost 6.04% or 4,320.00 points to trade at 67,210.00 in late trade. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 5.87% or 1,750.00 points to end at 28,060.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) shed 5.05% or 890.00 points to 16,730.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 283 to 167 and 88 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.45% or 1.68 to $66.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.09% or 1.52 to hit $71.04 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 2.80 to trade at $2,570.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS rose 0.25% to 3.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 106.62.
