Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.45% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which rose 1.29% or 1.30 points to trade at 101.70 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) added 1.26% or 0.14 points to end at 10.87 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was up 1.22% or 1.40 points to 116.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which lost 35.13% or 22.94 points to trade at 42.36 in late trade. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 3.43% or 2.46 points to end at 69.34 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) shed 3.31% or 5.20 points to 151.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 177 to 104 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.86% or 2.07 to $70.29 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.53% or 1.91 to hit $73.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 12.05 to trade at $2,693.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.69% to 11.82, while USD/NOK rose 1.26% to 10.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 104.61.
