Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.31% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313), which rose 7.13% or 5.20 points to trade at 78.10 at the close. Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084) added 6.75% or 1.85 points to end at 29.25 and Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) was up 6.59% or 4.90 points to 79.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:1211), which lost 4.09% or 2.30 points to trade at 53.90 in late trade. Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) declined 3.18% or 0.09 points to end at 2.74 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (TADAWUL:2082) shed 2.95% or 13.40 points to 441.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 160 to 134 and 30 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.03% or 0.74 to $70.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.77% or 0.58 to hit $74.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 3.60 to trade at $2,679.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 104.63.
