Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy&Utilities, Hotels&Tourism and Agriculture&Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 6.18% or 6.80 points to trade at 116.80 at the close. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) added 4.98% or 3.60 points to end at 75.90 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) was up 4.57% or 1.85 points to 42.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140), which lost 7.12% or 0.19 points to trade at 2.48 in late trade. Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164) declined 3.86% or 5.00 points to end at 124.40 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) shed 3.85% or 0.01 points to 0.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 166 to 131 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.02% or 1.36 to $68.57 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.02% or 1.43 to hit $72.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 12.70 to trade at $2,793.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.07% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 104.29.
