Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.95%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Software&Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.95% to hit a new 6-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 1.90% or 56.00 points to trade at 2,998.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 1.49% or 13.20 points to end at 897.00 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was up 1.38% or 9.00 points to 662.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which lost 3.26% or 8.80 points to trade at 261.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.52% or 260.00 points to end at 10,040.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) shed 2.16% or 230.00 points to 10,410.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 60 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 5.60% or 4.02 to $67.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.49% or 4.15 to hit $71.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 2.65 to trade at $2,757.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 104.12.
