Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.08%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.08%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 1.83% or 2.30 points to trade at 128.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.32% or 135.00 points to end at 10,340.00 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 0.82% or 1.10 points to 135.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which lost 2.94% or 47.00 points to trade at 1,553.50 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) declined 1.75% or 8.20 points to end at 460.40 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) shed 1.18% or 3.20 points to 267.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 48 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.57% or 0.40 to $70.18 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.42% or 0.31 to hit $73.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 11.30 to trade at $2,690.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.17% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.26.
