Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 4.03% or 0.46 points to trade at 11.86 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.21% or 1.13 points to end at 52.32 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.48% or 0.08 points to 16.85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which lost 2.74% or 1.48 points to trade at 52.50 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.76% or 0.06 points to end at 3.56 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) shed 1.66% or 0.34 points to 20.18.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 46 and 34 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 4.09% or 3.02 to $76.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 4.31% or 3.02 to hit $73.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.45 to trade at $2,669.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP rose 0.90% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 101.81.
