Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Megapolitan Developments Tbk (JK:EMDE), which rose 34.51% or 39.00 points to trade at 152.00 at the close. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) added 33.33% or 1.00 points to end at 4.00 and Bank Ganesha Tbk PT (JK:BGTG) was up 24.62% or 16.00 points to 81.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Barito Renewables Energy PT Tbk (JK:BREN), which lost 19.83% or 1,750.00 points to trade at 7,075.00 in late trade. Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) declined 14.24% or 410.00 points to end at 2,470.00 and Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI) shed 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 317 to 307 and 211 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.17% or 0.12 to $70.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.16% or 0.12 to hit $73.57 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 3.60 to trade at $2,642.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.45% to 15,229.05, while AUD/IDR rose 0.43% to 10,362.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 100.87.
