Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 3.68% or 2,280.00 points to trade at 64,280.00 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) added 2.82% or 270.00 points to end at 9,850.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) was up 2.18% or 220.00 points to 10,300.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (BVC:ETB), which lost 6.43% or 5.50 points to trade at 80.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 4.49% or 480.00 points to end at 10,200.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) shed 3.47% or 740.00 points to 20,560.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.08% or 0.20 to $259.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.10% or 85.00 to hit $7,780.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.60 to trade at $2,610.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.10% to 4,230.77, while BRL/COP rose 2.37% to 768.63.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 100.34.
