Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Biomed and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 4.86% or 62.00 points to trade at 1,337.00 at the close. Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT) added 4.67% or 271.00 points to end at 6,080.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was up 3.08% or 87.00 points to 2,908.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which lost 2.04% or 137.00 points to trade at 6,579.00 in late trade. Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) declined 1.81% or 250.00 points to end at 13,600.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) shed 1.78% or 1,320.00 points to 72,680.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 219 to 215 and 105 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.35% or 0.23 to $65.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.23% or 0.16 to hit $69.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 4.35 to trade at $2,538.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.43% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.36% to 4.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 101.67.
