On Monday, the SEC's cryptocurrency special working group announced the agenda and members for the meeting. It will take place at the SEC headquarters on April 11, Eastern Time. The meeting will be live-streamed for the public.

The theme of the meeting is "Between a Block and a Hard Place: Tailoring Regulation for Crypto Trading" This suggests a focus on regulatory issues surrounding cryptocurrencies. Topics may include altcoin spot ETFs and the U.S. cryptocurrency strategic reserve.

Currently, issuers have submitted spot ETF applications for altcoins like LTC, XRP, ADA, and DOGE. They are now waiting for the SEC to decide whether to approve or deny these applications.
